Bespoke stories.

A bride in a white wedding gown, with pearl strands draped in soft arcs across the bodice. Pearl chains for a wedding dress“The dress I loved sold out. Could you make the pearl detail for mine?”

The pearl detail, made for her dress.

She already had a simple white wedding dress, so she asked us to create that detail for her own. We combined pearls of different shapes, sizes and soft tones with tiny light-catching beads, arranging them in flowing strands across her bodice.

Pearls for the moment she turned around.

She came to us with a wedding look in mind: a simple strand of pearls from the front, with an elegant drop down the back of her dress. We made her a necklace she could tie and drape for that moment, then showed her other ways to wear it.

Nine pearls, one friend in mind.

Our client wanted to give a friend a gift made just for them. She chose pearls in different shapes and colors, picking the ones that felt right for that person. “You are the one who puts the next pearl on the string”—a personal piece of pearl art their friend can display and keep.

The pearl she chose herself.

She loved our original earring design with a teardrop baroque pearl, but wanted a pearl with more presence. We showed her several larger pearls so she could compare their shapes and luster herself. She chose this one for its iridescent glow and sculptural shape, and we made her earrings with that pearl as the focal point.

A lucky pendant, down to the pearl.

She wanted a lucky pendant for his friend, with a pearl he had chosen herself. We showed her around eight to ten round pearls in pink and purple tones, paying close attention to their shape and surface, and kept looking with her until he found the one that felt right. Her friend loved the gift.

An Aware pearl necklace with a larger baroque pearl detail. Custom pearl drop earrings“Could I choose the pearl myself—and be sure the metal is nickel-free?”
An Aware pearl necklace with a larger baroque pearl detail.

Her version of the classic pearl drop.

She wanted a simple pearl drop with a subtle, diamond-inspired sparkle, but was concerned about nickel in similar earrings she had seen online. We confirmed that our standard metal components are nickel-free, then showed her pearls in different sizes. She chose a bright, round pearl with the luster she loved, and we made the pair for her.

A layered floating pearl necklace with small crystals, displayed with a matching interlaced pearl bracelet. Custom pearl and crystal necklace & bracelet set“I love the floating pearls. Could we add a little sparkle and make a bracelet to match for my son’s wedding?”

A little extra stardust for her son’s wedding.

For her son’s wedding, she wanted to make our popular floating pearl necklace her own. We placed small Swarovski crystals among the pearls, adding points of light across its airy strands. Then we made an interlaced bracelet that carried the same pearls and sparkle onto her wrist. Together, they became a set made for the day she had in mind.

A pair of pearl cluster earrings on a display stand, each with a larger round pearl above a cluster of smaller pearls. Custom pearl cluster earrings“I wanted a pearl cluster that felt airy, with pearls that could move as I walked.”

Pearl clusters with room to move.

She wanted the layers of a pearl cluster, but found the tightly packed styles too much like a bunch of grapes. We strung each pearl by hand at different heights, leaving space between them. As she walks, the pearls sway in different directions, giving the finished earrings depth without losing their airy feel.

A pearl choker and matching bracelet with staggered pearls along gold-tone chains, displayed with small round pearl stud earrings. Custom pearl choker, bracelet & stud earrings“I love how the pearls sit at different heights. Could I have a matching bracelet and choose a small pair of pearl studs to go with them?”

She loved the choker. She made it a set.

She was drawn to the pearls that sit at different heights along one of our choker designs. We made a bracelet in the same style, then helped her choose a pair of small, lustrous pearls for simple stud earrings. The finished set carries the choker’s playful detail from her neck to her wrist, with a quieter touch of pearl at her ears.

Pearls in motion for her wedding day.

She planned to wear a simple pearl necklace and earrings for her wedding, but wanted her bracelet to stand out. She imagined many strands of real pearls, with varied sizes and an airy drape—something she struggled to find. We spaced the pearls across fine chains and added hanging strands that move and catch the light at her wrist.
